SAS has announced that its Viya artificial intelligence, analytics and data management platform is now available as a paid Microsoft Azure market option, bringing vast analytical power to everyone – and at a price. which means there’s no reason not to integrate analytics into your applications.
Alice McClure, Director of AI and Analytics at SAS, spoke with iTWire about the announcement, saying “We believe analytics should be experienced by everyone, everywhere.” Specifically, she added, “everywhere” means analytics capability must be portable and cloud-agnostic, and must provide a range of flexible consumption options.

With SAS Viya on Azure Marketplace, you can apply AI to interpret patterns, monitor bias, manage patterns, enable responsible AI, troubleshoot issues with automated insights, and more — all with a support community ready to help you and using the language of your choice to discover information in seconds.
The product makes no assumptions about your prior SAS experience level and includes in-app integration with sample welcome screen templates, sample quick build videos, how-to guides and training resources and documentation.
The news reinforces the strong strategic alliance between SAS and Microsoft, following Microsoft’s announcement that SAS was its 2022 Independent Software Publishing (ISV) Global Partner of the Year.
